the kgs endpoint architecture services team creates value for its koch customers through innovative and reliable solutions in the endpoint computing space. Outcomes produced include endpoint security (mobile, av, and encryption), endpoint lifecycle management (software packaging and distribution, security updates, workstation build), endpoint standards through the creation and use of software and hardware roadmaps, group policy object management, and mobile device management which includes industrial mobility as well as consumer mobility.
- manage and administer microsoft system center configuration manager in support of patching, automated software deployment, imaging, inventory and reporting
- identify and implement solutions to automate or eliminate 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support tasks and empower the end user to be more productive.
- create and modify group policy objects in support of workstations and users
- provide 3rd level support to other technicians and users.
- train 1st and 2nd level support staff on use of tools, processes and standards established

a day in the life could include:
(job responsibilities)
- collaborate with our business partners to understand the software installation process, the desired end result, and produce a complete solution suitable for automated installation.
- you will own the process from start to finish including intake, development, testing, and deployment of the software packages.
- create packages for deployment leveraging our currently available tools. Most commonly powershell appdeploy toolkit or advance installer.
- leverage your experience and creativity to overcome challenges to provide valuable solutions to our business partners.
- build knowledge for training and development of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support.
- understand current processes and drive process improvement opportunities.
What you will need to bring with you:
(experience & education required)
- intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience using powershell
- advanced knowledge of the windows operating system
- providing support in a multi-forest/multi-domain active directory environment
- ability to effectively design and implement large-scale deployments in a very complex environment
- ability to effectively communicate with business partners and leadership to set expectations and drive conversations to produce valuable solutions
bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience
