you will lead the production operations in the plant and deliver key performance targets (sqcdsm) in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale. how you will contribute
* manages change and transformation among operating teams in the implementation of il6s-integrated lean six sigma phase journey, fof-factory of the future, line-centric organization & roles, to progress into self-sufficient teams. Role models values and principles through coaching, mentoring and development of the team.
* support the manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, engagement goals in line with site business needs. Coach line leaders, cascade and communicate plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and kpis.
* lead and establish strong governance to review and control operational performance and continuous improvement, embedding a zero-loss mindset to deliver best-in-class results. Drive the team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems for reliable operation.
* support manufacturing standards, governance and compliance requirements (e.g., corporate quality, food safety & gmp, health, safety, security, environment, sustainability, code of conduct, policies & principles, operational standards, local legal requirements, internal audit norms, and other procedures) to be in place, understood and regularly reviewed for effective implementation.
* lead and be accountable for talent, capabilities & engagement for the manufacturing team; attract, retain and develop critical talent and build capability at all levels (technical and behavioral) to sustain the workforce for the future. Partner with multi-functional peers internally and externally to achieve objectives, goals and kpis.
what you will bring
* strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in the cpg industry with experience in tpm, 5s, lean, and six sigma tools and concepts.
* excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching and leadership skills in a team-based environment; demonstrated analytics, problem solving, and team-building abilities.
* an engineer with strong financial and business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.

objective
the regulatory reporting trade conduct controls (rrtcc) function provides control monitoring and oversight of hsbc’s trade and transaction reporting to regulators and exchanges. The role leads and manages the team in mexico covering trade and transaction reporting obligations for otc derivatives and cash products. The incumbent will influence and lead regional forums within and outside operations and drive the implementation of the trade reporting control framework across mexico.
activities
* develop and lead the mexico trade and transaction reporting control team; support reporting obligations (e.g., cftc swap, sec ss swaps, cat, act, trace, large trader reporting, large option position reporting).
* support the global rrtcc controls and governance framework and streamline processes across regions (hbus, hbeu, hbap).
* maintain oversight of forthcoming regulations and their impact on reporting.
* provide management information and assist the business when regulatory changes are required.
* educate the business on the reasons behind trade reporting.
* collaborate with compliance, it and operations on timely project delivery and high standards.
* manage ad-hoc reporting projects; build and enforce governance by product and entity.
* implement robust qa testing across products and regulatory requirements.
* understand and explain technical infrastructure supporting regulatory reporting and suggest improvements.
* coordinate with trading and compliance on new product roll-outs to ensure adherence to obligations.
* attend industry working group calls and lead governance meetings with senior stakeholders.
* coordinate with global teams to ensure regulatory compliance and process consistency where possible.
* maintain relationships with market vendors to align with regulatory initiatives.
* perform other job-related duties as assigned.
requirements
* minimum 5 years’ experience in trade and transaction reporting, compliance or control analytics.
* knowledge of regulatory obligations (cftc, sec reporting, trace, cat, etc.).
* swap dealer/broker-dealer experience preferred; otc derivatives experience a plus.
* strong data analysis background; comfortable with senior stakeholders.
* proficient in excel and powerpoint; project management and/or six sigma qualification useful.
* technical it understanding of trading and order management systems desirable.
* ba/bs degree; strong influencing skills to coordinate with industry, global operations, it and trading.
