Job description
this is a hybrid role that requires developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
the successful candidate will present and demonstrate hexagon's products and services to potential clients, collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer requirements are met, prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers, negotiate contracts and close sales, provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction, and stay updated with industry trends and competitors.
qualifications
to be considered for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, proven experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sector, strong technical understanding of hexagon's product portfolio, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to travel up to 70% of the time, and strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
work environment
the primary work environment for this role is an office setting with occasional visits to the factory floor. The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated, with low to moderate noise levels. If required, ppe will be provided.
physical demands
this role involves frequent sitting in a stationary position for long periods of time, occasional bending/kneeling, manual dexterity required for keyboard use, operating office equipment, grasping objects, regularly moving around the office and occasionally the factory floor, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds, and specific vision abilities required including close vision, depth perception, and adjust focus. Frequently communicates with other employees and customers.
