you will ensure all our programs have clear success measures and metrics, and we are able to make data driven decisions as we look to improve and evolve our programs.
you will have direct management of our it & operations rotational global graduate program cohorts operating across multiple countries.
you will work alongside business collaborators, steering group members and hr colleagues to ensure we are providing the best experience, exposure and education to our graduate program population.
you will develop strong internal and external networks and bring in external best practice, continuing to evolve the design of our programs to attract the best early in career talent and meet business needs.
there are many collaborators across early careers and you will collaborate and partner with others inside and outside of az.
you will ensure that there is a strong focus on diversity and inclusion across all our early in career graduate activities.

*key accountabilities*:
- ensure the graduate programs in operations and it are designed and leveraged in-line with the early careers strategy and strategic workforce plan priority roles, skills and capabilities, and have clear success measures and metrics
- central management of the it & operations global graduate leadership programs - oversee onboarding, development, rotations, international experiences and transitions off program into roles, evolving the program alongside business needs
- chair the it & operations graduate program steering groups, partnering closely with the business to create a shared ownership of the graduate programs
- sme on graduate programs in ops & it advising the business on design and development of new programs where required
- partner with key az stakeholders - early talent taq team, other graduate program leads
*skills and experience*
*essential*:
- experience of managing early careers programs
- proven work experience in a highly collaborative matrix environment, engaging with, and managing, multiple stakeholders and partnering to deliver shared results
- ability to identify and drive improvements, using innovative thinking, internal and external insights and data
- a confident communicator with the ability to help shape and influence approaches
- the ability to understand and focus on inclusion and diversity
- experience of operating across business functions and geographies in large, complex and sometimes uncertain environments
*desirable*:
- experience working in an operations and/or it environment
- minimum bachelor's degree in business or other relevant discipline
