this position involves interfacing with both internal and external customers on a daily basis to provide support for uninterruptable power supply (ups) units, dc products, parts and service.
through the process of scheduling and dispatching of parts and administrative process for warranty claims (ifar), this position is highly visible in meeting eaton's goals and objectives.
*_job responsibilities_*
- manage spare parts and warranty claims requests from internal and external customers with emphasis on error free management and same day order entry.
- acknowledge all customer requests upon receipt and enter changes and/or cancellations in compliance with the guidelines of departments directly affected.
- expedite orders to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded.
- implement time management skills that would allow for orders of priority to be executed first
- provide customers and distributors with product information or direct them in the right direction for obtaining needed information
- authorize rma (returned material authorization) requests.
investigate claims by conducting factual based research and working cross functionally with interfacing departments.
submit call tag requests.
- manage ifar process for méxico region
- actively and aggressively work back log and open reports to assist company in recognizing revenue
- maintains organized/concise notes and work area which would facilitate follow up by team members as needed.
- proactively communicates with both internal and external customers regarding order verification, order status and shipment information.
- work directly with internal departments to ensure order fulfillment.

- education level required:_
- bachelor's degree in business administration or related field from an accredited institution required.
- years and area of experience required: _
- minimum of 3 years customer service, purchasing, logistics, procurement, experience on electrical industry sales in a large company required.
- technical knowledge:_
- intermediate knowledge microsoft office (word, excel, power point).
- basic knowledge mapics, as400, erp, sap.
- must have basic level verbal and written english skills required.
