Plan, control, and manage the final assembly and inventory levels to comply with demand requirements. Provide requirements to the supply base for meeting production schedules and follow up on delivery and other supplier issues as needed. * j supporting department metrics and other key performance indicators as assigned.
* k managing inventory levels (doh) through proper scheduling of orders in accordance with demand requirements and aligned to department goals.
* l attending training courses assigned by the human resources department.
* m performing activities according to the quality and environmental policies established by the business.
* n applying the safety and environment principles and methodology to prevent accidents.
* promoting and applying continuous improvement (apply lean manufacturing concepts & cost‑out projects).
customer service communication
* planning to review & validate customer requirements between the nogales facility and the corporation customer service team. Ensure that special requirements related to recurring customer orders flow down to the production order.
requisitos
competences
* high school or bachelor’s degree in process.
* 6 months as material planner, buyer, or related.
* moderate knowledge in microsoft office tools (word, excel, outlook, teams, etc.).
* computer knowledge within the company business operating systems (preferred).
* basic knowledge of inventory control skills.
* english 70 % proficiency.
* basic organizational and planning skills.
quality system responsibility
* performing activities according to the quality policies (eqs).
* completing annual revision of functional procedures.
* active participation in customer and quality system audit.
continuous improvement responsibility
* leading continuous improvement activities in my area of responsibility through the deployment and utilization of eaton business system policies and processes (elss, cif, pro‑launch, eqs, and others as applicable).
* active participation in ideas program.
* identifying cost‑out opportunities and working with operational excellence department to execute cost‑out projects.
* attending training courses assigned.
mesh responsibility
* performing activities according to the mesh elements, principles, and methodologies to prevent accidents.

* separating dangerous residues from normal trash.
* placing the dangerous residues (gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers.
* maintaining area clean and free of contaminants.

* identifying and giving adequate disposition to all chemical products that can contaminate the environment.
* acting immediately in case of chemical discharge.
* ensuring the right containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers to prevent discharge).
* ensuring the proper storage of dangerous residues.
