objectives:
customer satisfaction.
acts as a liaison between customers and the plant, attends customer visits and complaints, follows up on "corrective action reports," and leads efforts to reduce defective parts per million (ppms) in products shipped to customers.
management representation (iso/ts iatf 16949 – as9100d – iso
maintains the plant quality manual, serves as liaison between the registrar agency, customers, and the plant, establishes management reviews of the quality system, leads the implementation of necessary changes to the quality management system, continuously improving its effectiveness. Acts as lead auditor and trainer of internal auditors for isots iatf16949, as9100d, and iso14001.
quality planning.
coordinates the implementation and follow-up of the advanced quality planning methodology in all its initial phases of manufacturing.
inspection methods.
determines critical characteristics of the product and process, establishes inspection and testing methods and sampling plans to be applied from raw material receipt, during the process, and on the final product in order to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
application of advanced statistics.
trains involved personnel and establishes statistical techniques required to reduce process variation.
internal audits.
coordinates processes that provide evidence to determine compliance with quality management system requirements and evaluate such compliance.
quality management.
establishes, implements, maintains, and updates the processes necessary to determine the levels of compliance of the quality management system as set out in reference documentation.
corrective actions.
manages the actions to be taken to eliminate a cause of detected non-conformance. Follows up on 8d's with superintendents and/or quality engineers through weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings, as required.
measurement system validation.
analyzes measurement systems, methods, instruments, and resources used to quantify units of measurement.
