Overview
as an estimating supervisor here at honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process and bid management, ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of project bids. The position is crucial in supporting the organization's growth and profitability, and in this role, you will lead a team of estimators, collaborating with various stakeholders to develop detailed project quotations. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team, ensuring high-quality work that aligns with honeywell's standards.
responsibilities
* lead a team of estimators, providing guidance and support throughout proposals preparation
* bid management and review process, including presenting cost estimates to senior management
* develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and service delivery
* oversee the development of accurate and competitive cost calculations for projects
* collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with customer expectations
* ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
qualifications
you must have
* experience in managing teams or leadership role in any of proposal design, estimating, technical design, technical support, engineering or commissioning, project implementation
* knowledge of buildings or industrial systems, electrical or mechanical installations
* ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance
* experience with management processes and performance metrics
* fluent in english
