what you can look forward to as quality engineer?
o proficiency in metallographic sample preparation and analysis.
o understanding of failure mechanisms: fatigue, corrosion, wear, overload, etc.
o experience with fractography using optical and scanning electron microscopy (sem).
o familiarity with destructive and non-destructive testing methods (e.g., tensile, hardness, impact, ultrasonic, dye penetrant).
o ability to interpret and apply standards such as astm, iso, and nmx.
o knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
o commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment.
your profile as quality engineer:
o technical diploma or bachelor's degree in: metallurgical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or related fields.
o 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a materials testing or metallurgical laboratory.
o proven experience in analyzing failures in metallic and polymeric components.
o operation and maintenance of lab equipment: cutting machines, mounting presses, polishing units, microscopes, etc.
o strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o high attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
o ability to manage multiple samples and prioritize tasks effectively.
o good written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
