About this opportunity
we are seeking a support engineer to provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks, as well as configure and integrate various nodes and solutions in both new and live customer networks.
the support engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers, and other groups within the service delivery organization. You may also collaborate with teams in sales, r&d, third-party suppliers, and local authorities.
technical development is rapid, and you are responsible for continuously updating your skills and knowledge.
this role requires broad knowledge of telecom and datacom, including hardware, software, and networks. You will work in an international environment, communicating effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. The position often involves significant responsibility and independence.
what you will do
* work on 3g/4g/5g technologies and packet core networks
* conduct trace analysis using wireshark
* problem solving and root cause analysis
* handle customer issues
* apply negotiation and argumentation skills
* plan and organize effectively
* deliver results and meet customer expectations
* present and communicate clearly
* collaborate with team members
* apply technical expertise and technology knowledge
you will bring
* last-year students in communications, electronics, telecommunications, telematics, or related fields, graduating in june 2024
* excellent english communication skills
* solid understanding of networking concepts
* basic linux knowledge
* programming and scripting skills; python knowledge is a plus
* experience leading university projects is a plus
* basic cloud computing knowledge
