Location: Remote Mexico
Position Overview
Our idóneo candidate is a Full-Stack QA engineer with responsibilities split evenly between manual testing and automation testing (50/50). We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team and take on a balanced role combining both manual and automated testing responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident in functional testing, as well as in executing and maintaining automated tests. You’ll contribute to the quality of our web applications, backend services, and APIs, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing of web applications, APIs, and non-UI components.
- Review Epics and User Stories to perform static testing and validate acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation.
- Participate in test case peer reviews and identify priorities for execution and automation.
- Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
- Maintain and develop automated test scripts.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in manual and automation testing for web applications and APIs.
- Solid understanding of QA processes, Agile methodologies, and test design techniques.
- Proficiency in analyzing logs and using debugging tools.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Basic to intermediate C# programming skills.
- Experience in supporting or maintaining automated tests within a CI/CD environment is an advantage.
- Experience with creating or enhancing test frameworks is a plus
- A strong command of business English is a requirement
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM fields is preferred
- 2+ years experience of software development testing on a similar position
