As a ran automation engineer at qc's cae, you will join the global team of product delivery experts in the mobile network automation domain to meet and exceed the exciting challenges of rapidly evolving mobile networks.
minimum qualifications
* bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field and 4+ years of systems engineering or related work experience.
* master's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field and 3+ years of systems engineering or related work experience.
* phd in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field and 2+ years of systems engineering or related work experience.
preferred qualifications
* at least 2 years of relevant wireless experience.
* understanding of ran, preferably with performance monitoring, optimization techniques, network structure, interfaces, provisioning, etc.
* hands-on experience in the following systems/tools: oss (multivendor), mapping-info tools, windows, linux, excel, sql language (both relational and non-relational).
* experience with optimization and multiband tuning with multiple technologies on multiple vendors' equipment (huawei, ericsson, nokia, and samsung).
* some experience in managing small-medium scale projects.
* strong customer orientation.
* excellent service-driven, customer-focused skills; experience in building strong relationships with customers' technical teams.
* technical presentation and technical demonstration skills; preferably knowledge of a computing language (such as python, java); experience working for a software/network vendor; experience in network/rf planning and/or automation/son domains; experience in enterprise wifi management.
