key responsibilities
* assist in the deployment and support of it hardware and software, including pcs/laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
* monitor ticket queries and resolve basic issues; escape more complex tickets to senior team members or vendors as needed.
* support installation and basic maintenance of servers and storage systems under supervision.
* follow established security procedures, including updates, antivirus, and access controls.
* perform routine system administration tasks such as user account setup, password resets, and maintain inventory records.
* monitor system alerts and report performance or availability issues to the team.
* assist in troubleshooting recurring hardware and software issues and document solutions.
* help maintain inventory of it assets and supplies.
* support data backup processes and verify successful completion.
* provide basic user support and guidance on it tools and best practices.
* participate in team meetings and assist with process improvement initiatives.
requirements
* knowledge of it infrastructure including computer and printer troubleshooting and deployment.
* microsoft windows (client) and basic understanding of active directory.
* basic networking concepts (tcp/ip, lan).
* familiarity with internet connectivity and security concepts (vpn, antivirus).
* exposure to virtualization or remote access tools (e.g., citrix) is a plus. Familiarity with manufacturing environment.
* knowledge of m365 administration, including office suite, exchange, teams, sharepoint, and entra id.
