Position summary (responsibility)
the quality advance planning technician is responsible for executing and ensuring that a group of value streams within a specific program fully comply with customer-specific requirements, control plan execution, and pfmea updates.
he/she has the authority to manage the quality census across the program or customer value streams to ensure the proper execution and continuous improvement of the designed quality program. The quality manager provides the necessary resources and approval. The technician serves as the primary customer contact for any quality-related topics concerning the assigned program or value streams during early phases. Additionally, he/she is responsible for properly executing iatf procedures to ensure the successful launch of new value streams or products at aptiv.

* validate new projects/processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
* define and communicate the quality plan for new programs and ensure its execution.
* organize and develop the quality assurance system.
* ensure customer satisfaction and internal kpi performance on assigned value streams.
* ensure the safe introduction of product and process changes.
* detect and eliminate process risks during development phases.
