an exciting, permanent opportunity has become available with burrana to take a key role within delivery of new product introduction for our r&d initiatives for 2024 and beyond.
The npi lead will initiate and execute the successful introduction of new products through design, supply chain, manufacturing, and production processes. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional teams, to ensure the seamless transition of new products from design to manufacturing while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting delivery timelines on time and on target.
*duties and responsibilities*
- develop and implement comprehensive npi strategies, considering factors such as product complexity, production capabilities, inventory levels, manufacturing lead-times, etc.
- collaborate with senior management to align npi goals with the company's strategic objectives and each npi project’s kpis.
- provide input for detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, milestones resource requirements, and kpis for each npi project.
- coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including, design and manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and testing to ensure a synchronized npi process.
- foster effective communication among teams to address challenges, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
- monitor, manage and report project progress on a regular basis, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- coordinate the efforts of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure tasks are completed according to schedule and within budget.
- collaborate closely with design teams to ensure that new products are designed for manufacturability and meet production requirements.
- assess manufacturing capabilities and implement necessary process improvements or equipment modifications to accommodate new product requirements.
- work closely with quality teams to coordinate and gain feedback on testing procedures and fai.
- identify potential risks related to npi projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- proactively address challenges that may impact the successful introduction of new products.
