Eaton’s IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Generalista de Recursos Humanos.
What you'll do:
- BASIC FUNCTION:
The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive support in Human Resources processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal regulations. This role is responsible for executing activities related to Training, Payroll and Labor Relations, contributing to organizational development and employee engagement.

ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS:
Training:
A. Coordinate internal and external training programs.
B. Monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements (e.g., workplace safety and well-being standards).
C. Provides service with positive and proactive attitude to all departments in relation to employee needs to contribute achieve manufacturing objectives.
D. Lead the implementation, administration and communication of Training, Performance Evaluation & Development Plans.
E. Leads all activities related to training ensuring compliance with STPS legal requirements, coordination of internal and external trainings, etc.
F. Maintains all employee’s files up to date with training information.
G. Execute the training needs detection process and develop the Annual Training Plan and ensures the compliance of it.
H. Implements and maintains hourly and salary employee’s training matrix.
I. Responsible for the Certification Process for all hourly employees and report progress.
J. Reports and track progress regarding all Corporate Training requirements including Eaton University.
K. Strengthens employee retention and engagement through establishing the standard on-boarding and orientation processes with integrated efforts from various functions.
Payroll:
A. Ensures time and attendance information for payroll is processed with accurate information, providing on-time reports and approvals for payroll team (GFSS).
B. Prepares and sends all the appropriate reports to the IMSS within the time limits established.
C. Ensures compliance with IMSS, Infonavit, Fonacot, Labor Law Compliance: Art. 158 (seniority commission), Art. 117 (profit sharing).
D. Manage employee benefits (food coupons, saving fund, pension plan, etc.).
E. Prepares and reviews department information and reports such as headcount, absenteeism, and terminations in an accurate, precise and timely manner.
F. Maintains and updates employee’s pertinent information in HRMS and local system (Tress). Audits information in both systems regularly to ensure accuracy and consistency with support of HR Services.

What you’ll do:
Labor Relations:
- Coordinate activities related to personnel services as: Cafeteria and transportation achieving employee high satisfaction and engagement.
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in accordance with labor law.
- Coordinates and ensures monthly programs and plant activities, such as rewards and recognitions, anniversaries, monthly meetings, roundtables, etc., are carried out on timely manner.
- Responsible of Employee Communication.
- Perform, maintain and follow up all monthly HR reports as required.
- Ensures HR activities fully comply with legal requirement and Eaton policies.
- Supports in the organization and coordination of company parties and events.
- Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: OpA, Employee Survey, MESH, Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
- Maintains employee’s files with legal requirements such as birth certificate, school certificates, employment contract, IMSS, etc., assuring confidentiality of the information is always maintained.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years in payroll, labor relations, and training functions.
- Knowledge:
- Payroll processes and HR systems (Experience in TRESS system is required).
- Mexican labor law and regulations.
- Training and development metrics.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of staff.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, SIRCE, IDSE, Fonacot and Infonavit sites, etc.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution.

- Participación en el programa de ideas PIMA.
- Identificar oportunidades de ahorros y trabajo con Excelencia operacional.
- Asistir a los cursos de entrenamiento.
Responsabilidad con el Sistema de Seguridad MESH
- Realizar las actividades de acuerdo con los elementos del sistema MESH, principios y metodologías para prevenir accidentes.
- Reportar cualquier actividad que ponga en riesgo su seguridad, la de sus compañeros y el medio ambiente.
- Usar el equipo de protección personal en todo momento.
- Separar los residuos peligrosos de los residuos comunes.
- Colocar los residuos peligrosos en los contenedores asignados.
- Mantener el área limpia y libre de contaminación.
- Cuidar el agua y la electricidad.
- Colocar los químicos en el lugar asignado por seguridad.
