your role and responsibilities
as a project manager, you will lead cross‑functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing the maintenance and support of applications. You will be accountable for ensuring that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations.
* lead cross-functional teams: manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements including ibm, client employees, and 3rd‑party vendors to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution.
* establish communication plans: develop an effective communication plan to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes.
* manage project scope: ensure that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations.
* drive project outcomes: possess experience with project management methodologies and tools to drive successful project outcomes.
* deliver status updates: deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and visibility into project progress.

required technical and professional expertise
experience: 10+ years drive delivery excellence for a high impact, $30-40m annual program. In this role, you will serve as the program’s strategic leader-guiding scope, budget, technology delivery, and executive alignment to ensure business outcomes are achieved. You’ll partner closely across business and it teams, influence senior leaders and bring structure and clarity to complex, multi workstream initiatives. The expectation is that you will own the full lifecycle and ensure alignment with other large programs in flight to identify cross program dependencies. Responsibilities - define program direction and scope in partnership with business product managers, ensuring clarity of objectives and alignment to portfolio.
