Director of manufacturing operations
this position leads and oversees all aspects of large-scale plant operations, including production, engineering, maintenance, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution, and warehousing.
key responsibilities:
* lead talent acquisition, performance management, and development programs for plant personnel to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce.
* direct all manufacturing activities to deliver high-quality products on schedule within a safe and sanitary environment.
* oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational systems, equipment, and infrastructure to meet strategic goals.
* manage production scheduling to align with internal targets and customer expectations; monitor performance and remove barriers to success.
* ensure customer satisfaction through effective process management, system optimization, and facility maintenance.
* drive improvements in key performance indicators, including cost reduction, asset utilization, period costs, and workforce efficiency.
educational requirements:
bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Master's degree in business administration, industrial, manufacturing engineering, supply chain management, or related field is preferred.
