Salary range: usd $2,500 – $3,500 per month (based on experience)location: 100% remote (open to candidates in latam, south africa, and the philippines)reporting to: external cfo (technical oversight) and amanda (day-to-day and cultural alignment)about the rolewe are seeking a highly skilled accountant with hospitality industry experience (prefered) to join our team.this role is critical in bringing structure, accuracy, and efficiency to our accounting operations.the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and experienced in working in fast-paced environments.you will play a key role in cleaning up complex bookkeeping challenges while supporting multiple revenue streams and ensuring compliance with accounting best practices.as this role reports to an external third-party cfo, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong ownership of accounting processes, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to collaborate effectively with both store-level staff and leadership.key responsibilitiesmanage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.maintain and reconcile accounts in quickbooks, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.clean up existing accounting records and implement efficient, streamlined processes.handle bookkeeping for multiple revenue streams, ensuring accuracy in complex transactions.liaise with store-level employees to collect input, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial clarity.support the external cfo with accurate, well-prepared financial data to reduce oversight needs.prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for leadership review.assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting as required.key requirementsstrong accounting experience with proven expertise in quickbooks.hospitality/restaurant industry experience is strongly prefered —understanding the pace, challenges, and nuances of the sector.self-sufficient, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.excellent communication skills with strong english proficiency (written and verbal).comfortable working remotely across different time zones.reliable internet connection (speed test may be required).#j-*-ljbffr
