We are seeking a financial strategist to join a global organization that harnesses the power of electrification and ai to innovate across the automotive, aerospace, and electronics sectors. This role is an integral member of the regional management team, tasked with leading the financial health, reporting integrity, and performance optimization of three manufacturing plants (two in guadalajara and one in new jersey).
key responsibilities
* strategic business partnering: serve as the financial "voice of reason" and prudence for plant management and functional directors during decision‑making processes.
* performance management (p&l): focus on critical metrics such as growth, costs, productivity, and profitability, while optimizing working capital (fcf, dso, dio, roic).
* manufacturing control: ensure the accuracy of parts costing and gross profit (gp) margins by monitoring bill of materials (bom), production routings, and absorption rates.
* global reporting: lead the monthly accounting close and report directly to the global cfo in singapore under international standards.
* restructuring & projects: lead special corporate restructuring exercises, capitalization efforts, and compliance audits.
* governance & compliance: safeguard asset integrity, ensure proper segregation of duties, and maintain strict adherence to financial and tax policies.
candidate profile (hard skills)
* experience: over 10 years in similar regional controllership or finance director roles.
* specialization: essential experience in precision manufacturing (stamping, molding, or plating processes preferred) and solid knowledge of the automotive sector.
* technical mastery: expert in p&l management and corporate restructuring processes.
* systems: advanced proficiency in sap and excel for financial modeling.
* languages: professional english fluency (c1/c2) for daily communication with the global corporate headquarters.
* leadership: strong personality with the ability to manage and collaborate with high‑level executives and lead multidisciplinary teams.
