as supplier quality development engineer, your main goal is to assure vendors supply raw material with the quality standards required by the customer in a timely and cost-effective manner.
*responsibilities*:
- attend hse investigation when required.
give close follow up to hazards, action plans and hse compliance calendar activities assigned.
- participate in 5 ´s program as auditor or area owner when required.
do weekly audits per schedule.
- coordinate, lead and execute audits with current and in development suppliers.
- develop std formats to implement core tools, quality controls, procedures and kpis measurement.
- develop procedures & documentation required by iso/ qms.
- do ecars (electronic corrective actions request) when required.
- coordinate and assure efp process completion according to plan by procurement team.
- perform iso related activities according to implementation plan.
support maintenance of iso points related to supplier quality development.
- measure, present and develop strategies to control supplier ppms.
- lead quality onboarding training to new employees according to schedule.
- develop "quality & packaging specification" of purchased part numbers according to process requirements.
- support implementation of qwins workshops with suppliers.
- design validation and release of production plans for suppliers and part numbers under efp and as required by procurement team.
your background
- electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related.
- 5 years of experience as supplier quality assurance.
- knowledge with sap and minitab.
- advanced level of english.
- experience developing suppliers.
- knowledge of core tools, quality controls, procedures and kpis measurement.
