Overview: the sales solution engineer 3 is responsible for providing technical and/or industry expertise to the sales team and customers in the pre-sales process.this is a remote position in mexico.responsibilities: - act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and/or vertical- lead customer pre-sales meetings, identify technical requirements, and formulate solution strategy- create a demonstration of the solution strategy, applying solutions knowledge, experience and best practice knowledge- present demonstration of proposed solution to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in- coordinate meeting with general services to transition key information; remain actively involved in process to ensure seamless transfer of customer- compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the solution strategy- provide technical responses for request for proposals (rfps)- take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies and grow knowledge of the team; remain current on best practices and market trends- present at trade shows, conferences and events- work with development in support of solution enhancements- provide guidance to other team membersbasic qualifications: - fluent in english and spanish- bachelor's degree in related field, such as management information systems or computer science- significant experience in technical sales and relevant industry or technology- experience with enterprise content management (ecm)- experience with general software implementation methodologies- able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment- self-directed with the ability to manage projects to completion- strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas- demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies- speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience- demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus- driven to learn and stay current professionally- up to 60% travel time required- or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
