- the role partners with operations to drive cost efficiency, support decision‐making, and ensure financial discipline and compliance of the manufacturing (maquiladora) environment.
- oversee accounting records, monthly close, statutory reporting, and financial reporting accuracy.
- ensure compliance with us gaap, ifrs, sox, mexican tax regulations, immex, isr, vat, transfer pricing, imss, and local statutory requirements.
- lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
- manage cost accounting, inventory controls, fixed assets, and standard costing processes, payroll, cost.
- supervise treasury, accounts payable, payroll, tax, and internal controls.
- lead internal, external, statutory, and tax audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
- develop, implement, and communicate accounting policies, procedures, systems, and controls.
- partner with operations to identify cost savings, productivity improvements, and profitability opportunities.
