the senior finance analyst will play a key role in managing the financial performance of two manufacturing locations, providing critical support to plant managers and leadership teams through financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. This position requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and effective communication to drive business decisions.
responsibilities:
* ownership of financial management for manufacturing sites, focusing on providing actionable insights to inform business decisions while ensuring alignment with fp&a processes and internal controls.
* development and implementation of annual operating plans (aops) and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure predictability of financial results.
* leadership of monthly review and analysis of plant operating results, forecasted data, and other ad-hoc analytical requirements.
* communication of essential monthly findings to plant managers, finance manager, and director of operations prior to the monthly performance review.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
* minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting within a manufacturing environment.
* certification/license: mba.
* proven track record of analyzing and forecasting profit and loss statements.
* experience working with industrial manufacturing environments.
* working knowledge of sap.
* understanding of us gaap, reporting, corporate governance, and statutory compliance including sarbanes-oxley regulations.
