*responsibilities*:
- build, lead, and manage a global team of video editors focused on short-form content
- oversee the intake of video briefs and ensure project details align with short-form content requirements
- review and provide feedback on videos based on briefs and modern editing trends
- manage and guide the editing team in identifying the most important and relevant video clips for short-form content
- work closely with the global editing team to ensure the video clips meet our agency's quality standards and align with current trends
- communicate with the team to ensure that the work meets the client's needs and expectations for short-form content
- manage time effectively to meet daily workload requirements
*requirements*:
- a keen eye for detail, including spelling and grammar
- strong understanding of branding and what makes a good video
- proficiency in adobe premiere and experience with editing short-form content
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- strong management, leadership, and team-building skills
- must be available to overlap at least 30% of their working hours with est/edt time zone.
*preferred qualifications*:
- experience in video editing or related field, with a focus on short-form content and knowledge of how to make good corporate content
- familiarity with various video formats and trends on tiktok, instagram reels, and youtube shorts
