As a program management ford champ, you will be responsible to drive cross-functional teams to achieve program delivery with the use of relevant product/program and cost knowledge, communication, people skills, and process expertise.
*what you´ll need*:
- active student from any of the last 4 semesters of mechanical / industrial / mechatronics / computer science engineering.
- 90% english skills (oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- strong written and verbal communication skills in spanish and english.
- knowledge of vehicle components functions.
- written and oral communication skills
- microsoft office knowledge (word, excel and power point).
- working knowledge of gpds & wers.
- teamwork & interpersonal skills crucial to build strong relationships between program teams, marketing, vehicle operations, finance, suppliers.
- mid to strong knowledge of programming fundamentals as well as experience in a programming language (i.e., c++, python, java).
*what you´ll do*:
- support implementation of tvm (cost reductions).
- support and follow up cr progression through change control process.
- support pdl updates (color pdl and follow-on pdl releases).
- manage of tvm (cost reductions) and minor/micro programs launches and engineering change implementations.
- support tt to mp2 launch phases aims process binning & reporting.
- analyze and follow up cost reduction actions on high aging status. Consolidate plans and support engineering information for items not progressing in the program.
- support crid and dash board clean up to maintain consistency of program cost metrics and report out information for gemba reviews
- follow up cost reduction actions below $ 100 k of savings, to track items out of cpe and vld scope.
- lead crid update. Ensure ideas are up to date on investment, timing, and requirements to progress for next status code. Focus on sc1 and 2 items.
- participate as part of the innovation and cost reduction events, to improve idea generation and process automation for the area.
