we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of
*ftp v1 (finance accounting ledger system) test analyst*
*role purpose*:
the role will come under global finance operations which is the backbone of global finance and has - 35% of finance headcount across five locations ncr, hyderabad, chennai, bangalore, china, hk, mexico, and krakow.
we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of vp - finance systems maintenance ftp v1 outbound.

*main activities*:
- prepare test plan, test cases, requirement traceability, setup of jira tool, defect management and test reporting using jira
- conduct functional testing, regression testing, report defects and support user acceptance testing
- accountable for the end-to-end test activities in support of assigned projects in ftp v1 (finance accounting ledger system in us).
- input into test strategy, incorporating functional test, uat and change and implementation phases
- develop effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- lead in discussions with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and changes well communicated to then create effective test plan and test cases
- ensure adequate documentation and sign off on test plan, test cases by stakeholders.
- support successful business test phases, both within the project and externally involving stakeholder areas (uat, parallel run)
- contribute sme knowledge in testing practices, driving continuous improvement in ftpv1 change delivery to the business
- work with dynamic plans in a fast-moving environment, continually assessing priorities and progress and adjusting course where necessary, being sure to maintain alignment with other project work streams.
- clearly communicate progress, issues and successes to test manager and relevant stakeholders
- manage quality assurance activities for change framework test compliance.
- work closely with diverse business and it teams, to ensure testing strategies and approaches are agreed and any issues or defects are successfully resolved.
- gain a detailed knowledge of business requirements and understand how solutions delivered through the project will meet them.
- support project reporting, risks & issues management, project governance processes, planning and dependency management
- identifies and analyses complex cases; generates feasible and creative solutions considering all aspects and consequences; leads brainstorming meetings to discuss and/or explore possible solutions.
- support and bring value add to the existing test processes, test methodologies, test automation, test metrics and risk management.
- perform analysis, review and documentation of finance processes, data, process flows, business requirements, controls, functional and user acceptance test scenarios
- facilitate issue resolution to ensure that the project schedule remains on track and that functional issues are solved through appropriate, agreed solutions.
- provide input to related programme governance forums, to advise stakeholders on status, delivery feasibility, plans, dependencies, risks and issues.
- develop understanding of the ftp system interface logic and manage the system related activities to support process.
- stakeholders' management i.e. manage fa team, group reporting team, gaaps, it, ftp reference data team etc.
requirements- degree in business, finance, computer sciencce, or related disciples with overall +5 years professional experience in finance systems testing projects
- good accounting / finance background
- excellent hands-on ent-to-end functional testing experience
- hans-on experience in steup of jira tool
- experience in test planning, preparation, execution & reporting
- analytical skills and control process mindset
- experience in developing and managing testing strategies and plans is an advantage.
- complex analytical reasoning skills enabling appraisal of the global & regional reporting requirements and translate into functional requirements for system development.
- should be able to deliver high-quality service in shared service finance environments based on pla's and performance standards.
- strong communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience.
- excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing situations and to understand issues quickly.
- capable of undertaking transfer of knowledge through training/coaching within & outside of team
- strong working knowledge in ms office tools.
