generate proactive business development with potential and existing key clients in the assigned territory. Increase sales through comprehensive logistics solutions and establish medium- and long-term relationships as business partners.
how you create impact
responsibilities
* develop the assigned territory (san luis potosí) commercially with medium and large accounts (level a and b) for maritime business (fcl & lcl).
* actively prospect clients in the field, via phone, and digitally to identify business opportunities.
* present value propositions to clients and conduct commercial negotiations, ensuring profitability for the company.
* manage client platform in crm system, ensuring quality of information in kpi records (visits, calls, business opportunities, client onboarding, etc.).
* coordinate implementation calls with clients and operations of the business unit.
* follow up actively on initial shipments and monitor compliance with detailed processes in abt and/or internal and client implementation agreements.
* promote and collaborate on developing additional business through cross-selling (air, road, customs, nacora, intermodal, special projects, contract logistics) and up-selling (larger volume).
* ensure continuous knowledge and update of kuehne + nagel's product and service portfolio to provide accurate information to clients.
* conduct market studies to identify trends and business opportunities. Achieve and surpass sales targets set by management.

* bachelor's degree in international business, business administration, or related field.
* reside in san luis potosí.
* field hunter profile.
* minimum 3 years experience in direct client sales within the logistics sector of freight forwarding.
* knowledge of maritime operational processes in mexico.
* strategic business development skills.
* theoretical and practical knowledge of incoterms.
