As a senior global sourcing category manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's global sourcing strategy, ensuring cost efficiencies, supplier excellence, and long-term sustainability of the supply chain.
this is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories, drive negotiations for high-value contracts, and think strategically to mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
about you:
* you have a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, or a total of 10 years of relevant work experience (5+ years in sourcing) if no college degree.
* you have 5+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement, leading, developing, and managing supply chain strategy and supply base.
* you possess demonstrated experience in sourcing injection molding components, including knowledge of polymer materials, mold design, and tooling project lifecycle management.
* you have strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts while driving cost savings.
* you are able to travel as needed and have a collaborative approach to communication and problem-solving with a passion for sharing knowledge with colleagues.
