you will support users, maintain local infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with group it to ensure stable and secure it services. your work directly supports our employees, production systems, infrastructure, and daily business continuity. You are the person people turn to when something is not working and the person who helps prevent issues before they happen. You will work on‑site at rompa mexico, supporting local teams while collaborating with group it and external partners when needed.
your role
* act as the first point of contact for all local it issues.
* support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
* resolve day‑to‑day it problems quickly and pragmatically.
* support user onboarding and offboarding, including hardware, accounts, and access.
* perform basic network troubleshooting for lan, wi‑fi, and connectivity issues.
* support server maintenance and patching according to group it guidelines.
* manage backups, antivirus, endpoint protection, and monitoring activities.
* support printers, barcode scanners, and shop‑floor it devices.
* provide first‑line support for erp, mes / production systems, microsoft 365, and standard applications.
* escalate complex issues to group it or external vendors.
* execute it changes defined by group it.
* maintain asset tracking, documentation, and it compliance.
* support plant audits, it inspections, and security requirements.

* experience with windows workstations and basic windows server administration.
* basic networking knowledge, including switches, wi‑fi, and connectivity troubleshooting.
* experience with printers, scanners, and industrial it devices.
* understanding of standard it security practices.
* a hands‑on, service‑oriented mindset.
* comfortable working in a production / manufacturing environment.
* stress‑resistant, pragmatic, and solution‑focused.
* english level sufficient for documentation, communication, and escalation.
