Job title: operations director
this role oversees the entire production and operational strategy for a product line.
the ideal candidate will possess a degree in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in production, quality, or manufacturing engineering.
a six sigma green belt certification is desirable, along with knowledge of basic geometric dimensioning and blueprint reading techniques.
the successful candidate will also have excellent leadership skills, enabling them to effectively manage a team of 50+ employees.
* anticipate and resolve production situations
* eliminate barriers to equipment uptime and manpower issues
* tackle technical and quality problems
* maintain safety and ergonomics standards
* develop and implement quality systems and standards
key requirements:
* bachelor's degree in engineering
* 5+ years in production, quality, or manufacturing engineering
* six sigma green belt certification (desirable)
* bilingual spanish-english
* customer-specific requirements from the automobile industry (desirable)
