join global service center (gsc) hsbc and contribute to payments risk and control activities within the latam region.role purposethe primary purpose of this role is to support the head of gps operations latam from a functional perspective for payments services and gps operations.
you will help ensure the bank's ongoing compliance with payment transparency (pt) and other risk & control activities.
responsibilities include tracking and remediation of pt issues, reviewing developments in the payment environment across the group for pt compliance and presenting them to the pta for approval, engaging with 2lod and regulators as needed, and supporting assurance testing related to message completeness and data integrity.
you will also support the global iso 20022 program from a payment transparency requirements perspective.you will additionally help ensure ongoing compliance of the business function with operational resilience (ops res), risk & governance, and payments global procedures, communicating updates to lam countries.
