Role summary
this position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of site assets, ensuring optimal efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance administration and experience with cmms systems.
about the role
the maintenance coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes managing preventive and predictive maintenance plans, coordinating with production areas, and ensuring that necessary resources are available for maintenance activities.
key responsibilities
* to support compliance with regulatory requirements in terms of safety, quality, etc., necessary to maintain the license to operate the site.
* manage and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance plans according to operational needs and the recommendations of technical specialists and manufacturers.
* coordinate maintenance activities together with the focal points of production areas to avoid interruptions in processes and maximizing the use of equipment or systems.
* ensure that the necessary resources (personnel, tools, consumables) are available for the execution of maintenance activities, working together with product technical support catalysts.
* manage and administer the technical warehouse to ensure operations continue uninterrupted.
* ensure the acquisition, storage, and distribution of spare parts at the right time to avoid downtime or production stoppages, maintaining optimal cost control.
* participate in the preparation of budgets and ensure the control of the maintenance budget of the site, detecting risks, opportunities, and savings.
* report to the technical management of the site for decision making.
* ensure the management of the asset database, calculation of the internal working hours, information boards, and spare parts management strategy.
* provide regular reports to the leadership team and focal points of the areas on the status of maintenance, costs, and the actions taken.
* participate in a3 meetings, dds's, problem solving, audits whenever required.
* lead the reliability and integrity management of site assets, in accordance with aca and fmea and other maintenance management methods.
* participate and collaborate in the analysis and identification of failures in conjunction with the technical and operational areas.
* lead site maintenance improvement projects, using tools such as oe, vom, lean six sigma, and report to site technical management, rim regional and global teams.
* apply and promote onepps practices to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
* ensure the monitoring and compliance of the integrated management system in the scope of the role.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical, chemical, electrical, etc.), facilities management, or related (or equivalent experience).
* at least 8 years of experience in maintenance administration of plans and programs of corrective, preventive, condition-based, and predictive maintenance preferably in manufacturing settings.
* strong knowledge of cmms.
