Department Overview:
Overview:
The Data Analyst will perform analytical research in support of the BCO group. The Data Analyst will use data and other technical methods to provide oversight and guidance relating to business products, services, and processes to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.

The Data Analyst will work closely with all BCO sub-groups and other groups to identify and use large and complex datasets to build comprehensive monitoring control strategies. The Data Analyst will be responsible for the documentation, tracking, and periodic preparation of executive reporting and dashboards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Extract, analyze and interpret data using analytics techniques to produce ad-hoc analysis, reports, metrics/KPIs/KRIs and dashboards.
- Leverage analytical techniques to identify underperforming trends and conduct root cause analysis to implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams to understand various systems, databases, data flows, and insights.
- Assist with analysis and reporting, including but not limited to design, development, and implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly departmental reports.
- Identify and develop reliable and efficient automated solutions to fulfill complex business reporting requirements, which minimize manual processes without sacrificing user flexibility.
- Develop strong data management processes and quality controls to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
- Provide requisite information in support of independent audit activities.
- Responsible for documentation of data analytics processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, etc.); Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of data analytics related experience; Experience in financial services or FinTech industry preferred.
- Strong Knowledge and Experience with SQL, Power BI and MS Office Suite Required; Python/R/SAS experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to merge, concatenate, clean and prepare large and complex datasets from multiple databases using SQL and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools.
- Experience with business analytics, report generation, data validation, metrics, key performance indicators, key risk indicators and data warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and prior experience leveraging datasets for driving business decisions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate - Advanced English Required.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
