Aws devops engineerlocation : gdl mexico type : full time experience level : mid to senior level job description : key responsibilities of a senior aws devops engineer:infrastructure as code (iac):design, implement, and manage infrastructure using iac principles with tools like terraform. Ci/cd pipelines:design, implement, and maintain ci/cd pipelines for various projects, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments. Automation:automate deployment processes, configuration management, and other tasks using scripting languages like python and tools like ansible. Monitoring and alerting:implement monitoring and alerting systems to track system performance, identify potential issues, and proactively address them. Troubleshooting and incident response:troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations. Security and compliance:implement security best practices, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and protect company data and systems. Collaboration:collaborate with development teams, system operators, and other it staff to facilitate smooth releases and deployments. Performance optimization:conduct system performance tuning, optimize resource utilization, and ensure high availability of services. Cloud management:manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuring, and maintaining various cloud resources. Technology evaluation:evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the software delivery process and infrastructure. Documentation and knowledge sharing:document technical procedures, configurations, and best practices, and share knowledge with other team members. On-call support:potentially participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems outside of normal business hours. Skills and qualifications:strong experience with aws services (ec2, s3, lambda, rds, etc.).expertise in ci/cd tools like jenkins, gitlab ci, or circleci.proficiency in scripting languages (python, bash, etc.).experience with containerization technologies (docker, kubernetes).knowledge of configuration management tools (ansible, puppet, chef).understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.excellent communication and collaboration skills.experience with monitoring and logging tools (prometheus, grafana, elk stack, etc.).experience with infrastructure as code (iac) principles and tools (terraform).
