responsabilidades
the accountant ii will work on fixed assets budget, po's validation of capital projects, reconciliation of fixed assets, registration of accounting policies that affect fixed assets, capital in process (additions, dispositions, capitalizations), manage of the financial and tax regulatory framework of fixed assets, internal controls regarding fixed assets & asset capitalizations, depreciation and amortization of fixed assets and intangibles, disposal for sale of fixed assets, fixed asset inventories, administration of fixed assets owned by the resident abroad, general ledger monthly reconciliation and monthly provisions.
responsibilities
* basic knowledge of budgets and forecasts in the manufacturing sector.
* po analysis regarding the capitalization of projects.
* reconciliation of fixed asset items against the gl.
* general knowledge and understanding of fixed asset policies and accounting policies.
* accounting for entries generated from capital in process.
* understanding of the financial and tax regulatory framework of fixed assets.
* design, implementation, and validation of internal controls regarding fixed assets & asset capitalizations.
* recalculation and administration of depreciation and amortization of fixed assets and intangibles.
* understanding of the financial, accounting, and tax regulatory framework.
* knowledge of management, valuation, and validation of fixed asset inventories.
* knowledge of the management, control, and administration of fixed assets owned by foreigners.
* general ledger monthly reconciliation.
* management of monthly provisions in gl.
calificaciones
required qualifications
* minimum 3+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree; or equivalent education and experience; or an advanced degree with no previous professional experience. Where required, the role must hold an appropriate degree in the industry (e.g., legal).
* language: bilingual.
* skills: highly analytical, initiative, teamwork, competent in excel, and knowledge of mexican gaap/tax related to fixed assets.
