major accountabilities
- support the operational implementation of the company’s strategic objectives through the proper management and oversight of the sales processes carried out by the order management department
- contribute to various activities and projects that support decision‑making and the achievement of goals.
- manage and control sales processes from the moment that the customer submits their purchase orders until they are processed and invoiced, ensuring they comply with the company’s established guidelines.
- drive sales volumes and contribute to inventory levels by accurately entering customer purchase orders into the system, ensuring that products, quantities, prices, and terms are correct.
- analyze and coordinate with sales teams on the allocation of products with short expiration dates, generating the corresponding letters.
- carry out the necessary allocations for products with short expiration dates and specify any additional activities required regarding labeling and documentation.
- generate delivery confirmations for goods and follow up on the stocking and inventory allocation processes with the w&d team.
- issue invoices for orders that have already been confirmed and notify the w&d team so they can notify customers.
- handle and provide support for all issues that may arise during the order creation process through to invoice issuance.
- generate metrics that aid in decision‑making and provide visibility into sales progress using accurate and timely data.
- offer specialized support and advice to assist sales teams and business managers with activities or inquiries related to sales processes and order status.
- contribute to process improvement.
- attend and actively participate in process monitoring and alignment meetings.
- ensure that policies and process manuals are current and up‑to‑date.
- manage and safeguard information related to sales processes under the responsibility of order management for control and audit purposes.
- address audit requirements related to order management processes.
- support the development of letters and forms for sales processes.
- generate monthly templates for order entry.
