* evaluate the supplier’s performance to meet customer quality targets
* oversee the industrialization of electric and electronic components
* collaborate with suppliers to ensure all activities are completed and deviations are avoided
* review supplier manufacturing processes and identify potential issues
* participate in various events with suppliers: pre-series, series production, capacity checks, isir, buy-offs, and q-checks
* conduct on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and follow-up/validation of corrective actions
* perform supplier qualification and requalification on schedule
* identify and promptly communicate potential risks
* gather information and ensure all documentation is uploaded into the appropriate platforms
* participate actively in regular meetings to provide status updates to top management and during project reviews
requirements
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
* 5 to 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, with knowledge of quality systems, assurance, and manufacturing processes related to electric and electronic components
* experience with product/process audits according to international standards (vda, iatf 16949, and/or iso 9001)
* strong knowledge of apqp, ppap, and fmea methodologies
* proficiency with quality processes and tools
* good understanding of measurement techniques and gd&t
* certification as a quality auditor under iso 19011 or vda 6.3 (desirable)
* experience handling kpis and reporting
* ability to gather technical information, lessons learned, concepts, and customer requirements
* knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing
* willingness to travel within mexico
* fluent in english
