pacific international is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the semiconductor industry recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence across its diverse product lines. The organization is seeking a strategic and forward‑thinking director of supply chain to lead the shared services site in mexico and drive excellence across the end‑to‑end supply chain operations.

in this role, you will shape global supply chain strategy, standardize best practices, and build scalable capabilities to enhance efficiency, resilience, and performance across regions. You will partner cross‑functionally with key stakeholders to optimize planning, sourcing, logistics, and digital transformation initiatives.

key responsibilities

• lead the americas development and execution of global supply chain strategies
• establish and govern best practices, processes, and performance standards
• drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
• champion digital transformation and advanced analytics capabilities
• build and lead high‑performing, globally distributed teams
• collaborate with regional leaders to ensure alignment and scalability
• travel: up to 20%

ideal candidate

• bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business administration, or related field (master's preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain within advanced manufacturing or complex industrial environments
• proven leadership experience in general supply chain or operations
• strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, cost modeling, and erp systems
• strong strategic mindset with hands‑on execution capability
• exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• fluent in english and spanish
