about the role
we are seeking an experienced and innovative global npp research head to lead the development of next-generation natural plant protection (npp) solutions. This strategic leadership role will drive research initiatives, accelerate innovation, and strengthen the global competitiveness of our biosolutions portfolio.
the successful candidate will oversee the research and development of new npp products, manage confidential tevsa processes and strategic raw material supply, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to advance innovation agendas and deliver market[1]ready solutions. This position plays a key role in positioning the company as a global leader in sustainable agricultural technologies.
key responsibilities
• lead the research and development of new natural plant protection (npp) products aligned with market needs and portfolio strategy
• define and execute innovation priorities in alignment with global corporate objectives
• manage confidential processes and strategic raw material supply ensuring quality, compliance, and confidentiality
• participate in executive committees and innovation forums across mexico, latam, and global organizations
• ensure successful transition from research to commercialization (research-to-market execution)
• oversee budget planning, investments, and resource allocation for the research function • align r&d activities with global production forecasts and business goals
• foster collaboration across regulatory, manufacturing, commercial, and supply chain teams
• lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary research teams.
what we are looking for experience
• minimum 5 years of leadership experience in research & development environments
• experience with biocontrol (plus not mandatory)
• strong chemistry and biology knowledge (required)
proven background in:
* product registration and regulatory processes
* chemical, biochemical, or biotechnological manufacturing plant physiology and plant nutrition o biotechnology and molecular biology quality systems and supply operations
education bachelor’s (greater than 10 years of exp en chemistry, agronomy, biochemistry or related scientific disciplines), engineering degree, mba, or phd in:
