a background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is highly desirable.
*key responsibilities*:
- lead and manage production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output goals.
- ensure efficient use of resources, adherence to schedules, and compliance with quality standards.
- drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance departments to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
- monitor kpis and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork on the production floor.
- participate in strategic planning and capacity analysis to support business growth.
- provide coaching and development opportunities for supervisors and line staff.
*qualifications*:
- minimum of 15 years of experience in production management within manufacturing or fabrication environments.
- experience with metals and metalworking processes is a strong plus.
- proven leadership and team management skills.
- solid english communication skills, both verbal and written.
- familiarity with lean manufacturing, operational excellence (opex), or continuous improvement methodologies.
