*responsibilities*:
- supervise the daily ap operations, ensuring invoices, expense reports, and payments are processed accurately and on time.
- implement, maintain, and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent errors or fraud.
- conduct periodic internal audits of ap processes to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- act as the main liaison between the ap team, vendors, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
- provide guidance, training, and support to the ap team to ensure operational efficiency.
- analyze ap data and prepare reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- propose and execute process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and strengthen controls.
*requirements*:
- fluent english
- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in accounts payable
- proven experience implementing and managing internal audit controls within ap or financial processes.
- strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and ap best practices.
- interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are a must.
- strong customer service and communication skills are required.
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to handle various job assignments while prioritizing all assigned tasks
