- reporting to the program manager - health solutions, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside program manager and cross-functional teams._
what a typical day looks like:
- duties performed in this role vary depending on the business unit, location or product being manufactured. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:_
- _ daily meeting with cft related to process/product._
- _ analyses, detects, identifies, and corrects manufacturing problems and deficiencies._
- _ conduct in-depth analyses of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement._
- _ collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement initiatives._
- _ facilitate process mapping sessions with cross-functional teams to document and analyze workflows. Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for automation through detailed mapping exercises._
- _ assist in the development of standard operating procedures (sops) based on mapped processes, ensuring alignment with best practices._
- _ provide strategic recommendations for capacity enhancements to meet production demands and improve overall throughput._
- _ prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations from process analyses._
- _ document all process improvement initiatives, methodologies used, and their outcomes for future reference._
- _ present findings to management and stakeholders, utilizing data visualization techniques to enhance understanding._
the experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ ms level student, currently pursuing degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or related major_
- _ strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making._
- _ proficiency in microsoft office suite (excel, powerpoint, word) and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., minitab, tableau)._
- _ familiarity with process improvement methodologies (lean, six sigma) and project management principles is a plus._
- _ knowledge on the use of statistical techniques._
- _ excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders._
- _ intermediate english (written & spoken)_
