Role overview
the qc analyst – in-app sketches will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of sketch-based visual assets used in in-app promotional content and videos.
in this role, you will collaborate closely with writers, sketch artists, editors, and production teams to ensure that every visual asset aligns with the approved script, creative direction, and pocket fm’s brand guidelines before moving into production.
this role requires a strong eye for visual storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of creative assets within tight timelines.
key responsibilities
* sketch quality review: review sketches used in promotional videos and in-app assets to ensure they meet quality standards, visual clarity, and creative expectations.
* script-to-sketch alignment: ensure that sketches accurately represent the approved script, storyline, and scene context before progressing to video production.
* visual consistency & accuracy:
* character consistency
* visual storytelling clarity
* alignment with brand and content guidelines
* artist & vendor coordination: collaborate with internal sketch artists and external vendors to communicate feedback and ensure revisions are implemented effectively.
* qc tracking & documentation
* maintain trackers to monitor:
* sketch submissions
* qc status and feedback
* revision cycles
* final approvals and delivery timelines
* pre-production quality checks: ensure sketches are fully approved and finalized before they move into animation, editing, or video production stages.
* cross-functional collaboration: work closely with promo writers, video editors, sound engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of sketches into final promo assets.
* process improvement: identify recurring quality issues and suggest improvements to sketch workflows, vendor processes, and qc guidelines.
* volume & deadline management: handle high volumes of visual assets while maintaining strict quality standards and meeting tight production timelines.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, animation, media, or a related field
* strong understanding of visual storytelling, storyboarding, and sketch composition
* experience in quality control, visual content review, or creative production workflows
* familiarity with design tools such as adobe photoshop, illustrator, or similar software is preferred
* experience working with illustrators, creative vendors, or animation teams is a plus
* excellent attention to detail and visual judgment
* strong organizational skills and experience managing trackers
* ability to manage multiple assets and deadlines in a fast-paced content environment
