your role at baxter
the business analyst at baxter liaises with system/solution architects, data engineers, process owners, and business partners to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and user productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of business operations and it systems to effectively communicate complex information to senior leadership.

what you’ll be doing
* collaborate with quality system management process owners and key partners to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
* analyze data from quality management system processes to identify patterns, trends, and insights for workflow improvements.
* author and update documentation, and formally deliver requirements documentation.
* develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states, identifying areas for automation and improvement.
* promote awareness of requirements across business units and evaluate real-time data to identify substandard processes.
* work with it and other groups to implement solutions aligned with strategic goals.
* develop prototypes of systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to partners and executives.
* establish governance with business owners and it for system integration and respond to management questions with research and recommendations.
* participate in user acceptance testing to ensure systems meet business needs.
what you'll be having
* bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, stem, or related field.
* 8+ years of professional experience in data analysis, design, and development.
* knowledge of quality management systems in pharma/device industry preferred.
* experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
* proficiency in technical writing.
* experience in testing and mapping business processes and protocols.
* professional certification preferred.
* strong communication and influencing skills.
* resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.
* leadership skills and understanding of business processes and project management.
