*job summary*
a front-line marketing representative, who qualifies leads, provides guest service and generates tour flow by performing the following duties.

- performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.
- responds to, solves, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk.
- responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff.
- assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
- identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.
- providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution.
- participating in setting department operating plans.
- recognizing and celebrating team successes.
- achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility.
- demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
- performs other duties as appropriate.

- positively represent the company at any location assigned. Maintain a collaborative working relationship with hotel and any other third-party company employees.
- provide concierge services to all resort guests and members in keeping, maintaining the “service first, product second” approach.
- provide excellent guest services, including accurate tourist information of the region.
- inspire confidence in the company through professionalism.
- determine guests' eligibility for promotional, gifted presentations, according to the standards described in training.
- attract eligible guests to preview the company vacation club program using premiums (gifts).
- fully inform and confirm every guest about the sales presentation, according to the standards described in training.
- create curiosity about the vacation club and encourage guests to tour with an open mind.
- complete the administrative work behind booking, manifesting, and confirming each sales presentation.
- attend all mandatory meetings and training.
- complete special projects as assigned by marketing supervisor.
Generally, a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., accounting, human resources, information resources). College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.
- high school diploma required.
- minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing.
- bilingual, ability to speak english and spanish, fluently.
- demonstrate an ability to deliver high level of customer service in all situations.
- demonstrate the ability to build and develop strong work and guest relationships.
- must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, prepares and reviews written documents accurately and completely, and answers telephones using clear and professional language.
- develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of others.
- stands, sits, or walks for extended periods or for an entire work shift. Ability to climb stairs.
- moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance.
- available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
