Video editor
we are seeking a skilled and experienced video editor to join our team. As a key member of our post-production department, you will be responsible for handling all video editing tasks on projects of varying length and scope.
this includes creating storyboards, rough cuts, fine cuts, and adding finishing touches such as graphics, 2d animations, and audio mixing.
you will also be in charge of camera management in the studio, maintaining project schedules and task-loads in project management software, tracking project expenditures, and providing reports to the post-coordinator.
additionally, you will be responsible for quality control on all content sent out for review, maintaining the organization of digital media per project, including backups and archives of media and project files.
assist the post-coordinator and head of post with additional related tasks as needed.
in this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from commercials and music videos to feature films and documentaries.
your strong attention to detail, creativity, and technical skills will enable you to produce high-quality edits that meet and exceed client expectations.
* experience with industry-standard editing software such as avid media composer or adobe premiere pro
* familiarity with camera operation and lighting principles
* ability to work effectively under deadline and maintain a high level of productivity
* excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* degree in film, video production, or related field (or equivalent experience)
