role description
this is a full-time home office position for a business development manager at zephyr technologies in the baja california region. The business development manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with international oems that do electronic design and emss that have influence over supply chain and component selection, building and maintaining client relationships, developing growth strategies, and collaborating with internal technical and operations teams to meet sales targets.
qualifications
* having good relationships with design engineers, buyers, and purchasing managers in oems/emss in the baja region.
* charming personality, outgoing, positive attitude, and organized.
* located in chihuahua, hermosillo, or monterrey region.
* assist with marketing strategy and sales support.
* ambitious with a 'sky is the limit' mindset.
* strong negotiation and communication skills.
* ability to understand technical product details and communicate them effectively.
* knowledge of the electronic components industry is preferred.
* experience with crm software and sales analytics tools.
* fluency in english and spanish, multi-cultured, with high iq/eq. Experience with asian culture is a plus.
* bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
* experience in sales is a plus.
