Microsoft –– azure data engineer - ingeniero de datos en azure in the role of azure data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing secure, scalable data pipelines and architectures on microsoft azure, enabling efficient data ingestion, transformation, and analytics for business insights. You will work with big data tools, cloud platforms, and collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision-making on a production support development project model. Basic qualifications bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. At least 6 years of experience in information technology. Mandatory skillsets 4 years of experience in data engineering with expertise in spark (scala), azure synapse analytics, and azure data factory (adf) for building scalable data pipelines. Strong proficiency in sql and azure cosmos db for data modeling, querying, and performance optimization. Hands‑on experience with power bi, power automate, and microsoft fabric for data visualization, automation, and unified analytics. Skilled in using azure devops for ci/cd, version control, and collaborative development in data projects. Other relevant experience ability to collaborate effectively with technical managers to identify and implement optimal solutions. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and present technical insights clearly.
