Job summary/ objective

the procurement coordinator will play a key role in supporting the procurement department by assisting category managers in sourcing and supplier management activities. This role involves contributing to sourcing projects, facilitating supplier rollouts, conducting supplier research, and creating rfx (request for proposal, request for information, etc.) documents. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to ensuring accuracy and integrity in all aspects of procurement operations. They should also demonstrate initiative and the ability to operate independently while effectively achieving goals.

job functions/ essential responsabilities

· collaborate with category managers to facilitate supplier rollouts and manage vendor and stakeholder communications including qbrs and other assigned tasks.

· support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department and elsewhere to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· respond to inquiries and requests for information from internal staff and external stakeholders promptly and professionally.

· organize and manage project documents to maintain comprehensive and accessible records including capturing meeting notes and following up on assigned actions.

· conduct supplier research and assist in preparing rfx documents to support sourcing initiatives. · prioritize and balance work across multiple projects to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.

· handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

· update and manage information in the erp system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

· troubleshoot supplier issues, such as payment discrepancies, to ensure smooth operations and maintain strong supplier relationships.

qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in project management, procurement, supply chain, or related field - bachelor’s degree - excellent verbal and written communication in both spanish and english, with strong organizational abilities. - demonstrated problem-solving and reasoning skills. - self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized. - ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

skills

· proficiency in erp systems and data management tools.

· intermediate knowledge of microsoft office tools such as excel, word, powerpoint,

etc.

· familiarity with procurement processes and rfx documentation.

· excellent written and verbal communication skills in both english and spanish.

· ability to interpret and analyze supplier contracts and agreements.

· experience with addressing and resolving invoicing and payment concerns.
